A free disability inclusion workshop will be held next month at the Catherine Park community centre in Oran Park.
Flagstaff Group have partnered with Camden Council for what will be an “exciting’’ Social Inclusion Week event on Tuesday, November 26.
The free workshop will be held from 10.30am to 12 noon and will be followed by lunch.
Aim of the workshop will be to foster inclusion and awareness for people with disabilities.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from people with lived experience.
They will also learn all about how new tools can support companies or community groups be more accessible and inclusive.
This interactive and inspiring session will be tailored for business owners, CEOs, board members, employees, community groups and community members.
Flagstaff Group CEO Rod Von Clark is encouraging the community to participate.
“Our goal is to create awareness and promote inclusion so people with all abilities can thrive in all areas of life,’’ he said.
“Through interactive workshops like these, we aim to foster understanding, break down barriers, and provide resources and tips that promote a community where everyone feels valued and included.”
Spaces are limited, and registration is required via Eventbrite by November 19.
