Man, 44, dies after he was thrown from his electric scooter

A 44-year-old man has died after falling from an electric scooter at Wilton over the weekend.

Police say have been told the man was riding the scooter along Ingleton Circuit about 10.55pm on Saturday night when it clipped the gutter and he was thrown to the ground.

The man suffered a serious head injury, with friends and family conducting CPR until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and took him to Campbelltown Hospital in a critical condition.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police were contacted about 6.30am on Sunday and informed the man had died.

An investigation is now under way into the circumstances of the crash and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.

Police have been told the man was not wearing a helmet.

Officers from the Police Transport and Public Safety Command are appealing for assistance as investigations continue into a lewd act on a train on the South West Sydney line.

Police have been told a 30-year-old woman was seated on a train travelling from Town Hall Railway Station to Liverpool, when she was approached by a man who allegedly committed an act of indecency.

The woman got off at Liverpool and alerted trains staff, who informed police.

Officers attached to Police Transport and Public Safety Command commenced an investigation into the January 11 incident and have since established the man got off the train at Fairfield Railway Station.

As inquiries continue, police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with the investigation.

The man depicted is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, aged 60 to 70, about 180cm tall, of medium build with short grey hair.

He is shown wearing a light-blue collared shirt, grey shorts, black sandals and a gold wristwatch.
