A popular local watering hole has been transformed into a Christmas Wonderland just in time for the festive season.

The Camden Valley Inn has gone all in for Christmas, with free activities for the whole family including night markets, Christmas Carols with raffle prizes and a visit from Santa, plus a free movie night with a special screening of The Grinch on a giant screen.

The night markets are on tonight, Thursday, November 30 between 5.30pm and 8.30pm. They will showcase local suppliers with an exciting array of vendors and live music, ranging from fashions, homewares, candles, to jewellery and personalised gifts across 30 stalls.

“Over 8000 people have expressed interest in the night markets. We can’t wait to welcome locals and Sydneysiders to the venue where they can come to hang out, enjoy a meal and entertain the kids, all the while supporting local businesses,” says Camden Valley Inn’s general manager Kayla Seeney.

To help locals and visitors to get into the Christmas spirit even more, Camden Valley Inn will also host two hours of back-to-back carols on Thursday, December 14 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. There will be a special visit from Santa and the Cawdor Fire Brigade, plus a range of raffle prizes.

“Free Christmas carols are a wonderful way for families to come together and share in the joy and spirit of the season. The timeless tradition of singing carols brings generations together and creates memories that last a lifetime,” Ms Seeney said.

And on Wednesday, December 20, Camden Valley Inn will show Christmas classic, The Grinch, under the stars from 7pm.

Families are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy some fairy floss, popcorn and watch the laugh out loud classic on a giant screen, in comfort.

“Our outdoor movie nights have always been a hit, drawing families together for laughter and entertainment. We expect The Grinch screening to be fun for all ages, and there will even be a special visitor on the night,” Ms Seeney said.
