It’s well and truly the most wonderful time of the year in Camden, with two exciting free Christmas events coming up.
The celebrations will kick-off with Camden Christmas Festival tomorrow, Saturday, November 25, between 4pm and 9pm, to be held in the Camden Town Centre.
This event will include the annual lighting of the community Christmas tree, live music, market stalls, amusements and rides and a very special visit from Santa himself.
The festivities will continue with Oran Park Christmas Concert next Friday, December 1, 5- 9pm, at the Oran Park Civic Precinct and Perich Park on Central Avenue.
This event will see the lighting of the Oran Park Christmas Tree as well as Christmas entertainment and another visit from Saint Nick.
Bring a picnic rug and relax on the grass while enjoying the Christmas performances.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Ashleigh Cagney, said she was looking forward to seeing everyone come together to celebrate Christmas.
“Christmas is such a fantastic time of year and the perfect way to spread joy to your loved ones,” she said.
“Camden has plenty to celebrate, and there is no better way than by visiting Camden and Oran Park, with special visits from Santa himself.
I’ll be lighting the Christmas trees at each event, and I can’t wait for you to join me there.”
