It’s almost that time of the year when Koshigaya Park will be transformed into a winter wonderland for Chill Fest.

This year’s festival, which will boast new features, has been scheduled for the July school holidays, from June 30 to July 16.

A flurry of festival favourites such as winter-themed ice skating, the ice slide, amusement rides and roaming entertainment will be part of the fun in 2023.

But they will be alongside new attractions, including a spectacular neon garden.

Families, friends and couples will be able to enjoy a cosy and luxurious private dining experience in one of the new igloos.

“This year’s Chill Fest will have some great new additions while retaining the atmosphere and winter-themed activities that everyone enjoys,” Mayor George Greiss said.

“So grab your winter clothes and join us for a great festival in the heart of Campbelltown,” Dr Greiss said.

A range of delicious winter-themed food and drink options will be available from food trucks throughout the festival grounds, or you can toast marshmallows over a fire pit if you wish.

A two hour quiet session will again be offered to those with disability and their carers, to ensure the winter festivities can be enjoyed by all locals.

In addition to the quiet session, a low-sensory morning session with no lights, music or announcements will be open to everyone on the morning of Sunday, July 9.

Ticket prices and event details are available on Campbelltown City Council’s website. Tickets are available for purchase now.
