Dr Mike Freelander, the federal member for Macarthur, has teamed up with Life Beyond Barriers, a local charity organisation, to collect toys and gifts for Macarthur’s children this Christmas.

“Children deserve to have a Merry Christmas and to celebrate the season of giving,’’ says Dr Freelander.

“That’s why I am proud to partner with Edward Feuerstein and the wonderful volunteers at Life

Beyond Barriers for my annual Christmas toy drive.”

The Member for Macarthur will be collecting unwrapped donations at his office at 37 Queen St, Campbelltown within opening hours from Monday through to Friday.

After quarantining for a period to ensure they are safe, the gifts will be distributed throughout the Macarthur electorate by Life Beyond Barriers to children and families doing it tough this festive season.

After the stresses that this year has brought, Dr Freelander and Life Beyond Barriers want to ensure Macarthur’s youth have a happy and Merry Christmas.

This wonderful collaboration will ensure those experiencing the stresses of job losses, domestic violence and those in foster care feel connected and appreciated by our community and is a wonderful initiative that Macarthur residents can contribute to.

“Macarthur residents have a big heart and a generous mindset, and so I urge our community to rally behind those doing it tough and to please donate toys and gifts to our region’s children and families struggling this time of year,” Dr Feelander said.
