
A police search is under way for the driver of a car involved in a fatal collision with a motorbike rider this morning.
The motorbike rider died at the scene, while the driver of the car allegedly ran away.
About 6.10am emergency services were called to the West Parade, near Bargo River Road, Couridjah, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command attended and found a car and motorbike had collided.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene, however, the rider, a 65-year-old man, died at the scene.
The driver of the car ran from the scene prior to police arrival and a search is under way.
A crime scene was established, and police commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash, with specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit in attendance.

In a separate incident, a 57-year-old man died in a crash at Oran Park on Monday morning.
About 7am emergency services responded to reports that a man had been hit by a car on Peter Brock Drive.
Officers from Camden Police Area Command were told a white Toyota Hilux was parked unattended in lane one on Peter Brock Drive facing east bound when it was side swiped by a grey sedan travelling in lane two that drove from the scene without stopping.
The owner of the vehicle, a 57-year-old man, was nearby at the time of the impact and is believed to have walked to the offside of the Hilux to inspect the damage when he was struck by a white Holden Commodore travelling in lane two and driven by a 20-year-old man.
The older man died prior to the arrival of emergency services.
The driver of the Holden, who was uninjured, was taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police are appealing for the driver of the grey sedan to come forward.
