FRIDAY, APRIL 22 – Take a trip around the world, watch art come to life before your eyes, learn traditional dances and eat amazing food – all without ever leaving Camden.

It’s all part of Camden Culture Club at the Alan Baker Art Gallery – and there are still two more sessions left to enjoy.

The first is this Friday and the second a week later on April 29, from 6pm to 9pm.

Those who attend can expect to enjoy makers’ markets featuring Richard J Bell, Studio B and Cobbitty Gallery, live art by Belle Mitchell, Michael Fardon and Melissa Barton, live music and dance performances.

They will also be able to check out the Life, Love and Light art exhibition.

Ticketholders for this week’s event will receive a complimentary drink, tasting box by Back Galley Cafe and dessert by The House of Art.

If tickets do sell out online, residents are still encouraged to go along because you don’t need a ticket to enjoy the festivities.

FRIDAY, MAY 27 – After a two-year vacation due to Covid, it’s time to dust of the putter, polish up the driver and practise those golf cart driving skills as the South West Sydney Academy of Sport returns to the course for its greatly anticipated annual golf day.

Get ready to tee off at the Campbelltown Golf Course, home of the academy’s golf program, for 18 holes of ambrose action.

Following what promises to be a thrilling round of golf, head to the clubhouse and join with fellow academy supporters to celebrate the on-course action and antics, and enjoy a strong networking opportunity over a corporate luncheon.

With options for golf day naming rights partnership, individual hole sponsorship, as well as team or individual entry, there is something for everyone to come out and support the athletes of the South West Sydney Academy of Sport.
