
A $563,000 funding boost will support a range of exhibitions, music, theatre and dance programs at Campbelltown arts centre from 2026 to 2028
Campbelltown City Council has announced that the arts centre has successfully applied for multi-year funding from 2026 to 2028 from Create NSW.
“With the support of Create NSW, Campbelltown Arts Centre will continue to play a vital role in shaping the dynamic creative landscape in Campbelltown and Western Sydney – providing opportunities for artists, supporting the creation and presentation of exciting and bold new work, and enriching our community’s diverse cultural landscape,’’ said Mouna Zaylah, director of the arts centre.
“Through our growing arts education and engagement programs, we are committed to inspiring and nurturing the next generation of artists.’’
The multi-year funding from Create NSW will also support a range of programs, including Little Orange working studio for artists who identity as a person living with a disability.
The Creative Careers education initiative, Burra Bumal in partnership with NAISDA, public art projects and activations, and Aboriginal cultural programs including Yirran Miigaydhu weavers group, Waridi Barrabarragga ceramics group, and Wiritjiribin dance program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls will also benefit from the funding boost.
Beyond its multi-arts programming, Campbelltown arts centre has taken on a broader role in shaping the region’s cultural future, creating multiple opportunities to engage new audiences and explore innovative program delivery with support from Create NSW.
