The matches of the round in the 2020 men’s and women’s M-League competitions couldn’t be more different.

In the women, Camden Tigers easily disposed of the Ingleburn Eagles, scoring 10 unanswered goals in the round three fixture, including a hat-trick to prolific goalscorer Tenealle Hay.

Oran Park defeated Mt Annan 2-0 in a pulsating clash in the men’s side of the Ottimo House M-League.

However the second goal came after Mt Annan threw everything but the kitchen sink at Oran Park in a bid to equalise but ended paying the price at the other end of the field.

Oran Park scored their first goal before the first 20 minutes were up in the match, which was played at Jack Brabham Reserve.

Justin Hallam, assisted by a sensational long ball from Joshua Curtain, was the man who gave Oran Park a 1-0 lead.

Mt Annan continued to push for an equaliser and came close early in the scored half, after a 35m strike from Daniel Semaan cannoned into the crossbar.

Semaan continued to create headaches for the Oran Park defence, winning a penalty and giving the Mustangs a perfect opportunity to draw level. The 2019 Player of the Year Daniel Goodhew stepped up but had his shot wonderfully saved by Shaun Glover.

Not to be outdone, Mt Annan goalkeeper Beau Duffy pulled off his own superb save from the penalty spot moments later to keep the Mustangs in the hunt.

Mt Annan threw everything at the Rovers, including sending Duffy forward for a late corner, which opened the door for a quick counter and Luke Beezem to ice the game.
