It’s not often a football club lands 60,000 members in one fell swoop.

But that’s exactly what the Macarthur FC Bulls have achieved through a membership partnership with the Cabra-Vale Diggers Club, including Campbelltown RSL, announced this afternoon.

What it all means is that all 60,000 members of the two registered clubs become members of Macarthur FC.

The partnership will allow all members of Cabra-Vale Diggers Club and Campbelltown RSL free entry to three A-League games each season at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

On the flip side, it will also allow all Bulls members to become members of Cabra-Vale Diggers and Campbelltown RSL.

“Cabra-Vale Diggers, for the last three years, have been supporters of our community programs,” says Bulls chairman Gino Marra.

“This is a natural extension of our partnership with a club that cares about its community across the South Western Sydney region.

“We are proud to partner with a club that has supported our region for over 98 years,” Mr Marra said.

A focus on community is at the centre of the partnership that will see Campbelltown RSL, which is owned by Cabra-Vale Diggers, become a live site for all Bulls away games.

This could in time extend to the Cabra-Vale Diggers Sports Arena bar.

“The Bulls in a short time have made the south west their home,’’ says Cabra-Vale Diggers chairman Walter Robinson.
“From more than 50,000 kids going through their Bulls in Schools program to winning the Australia Cup they have made the south west proud.

“As a club that cares about its community and giving back to its members this is a great partnership which we look forward to growing and expanding in years to come.

“Campbelltown RSL is the home for its away games as a live site and we will look to expand this to Cabra-Vale Diggers Sports Arena bar,’’ Mr Robinson said.
