Year 12 students across the state began their HSC exams today. Closer to home, students at three local public schools across the Leppington electorate are returning to new and upgraded facilities for Term 4.
Austral Public School, Greenway Park Public School and Leppington Public School are opening new and upgraded facilities as part of what the Minns Labor Government says is its record investment in public school infrastructure.
The upgrades will provide improved learning spaces for local students and teachers, helping meet the needs of growing communities across the Leppington electorate.
Meanwhile, local Year 12 students will begin their HSC written exams today with English Paper 1.
The exam period will run until Thursday, November 5, with students receiving their results on Wednesday, December 16.
Member for Leppington Nathan Hagarty [pictured above on ribbon cutting duty at one of the schools] wished local HSC students well in the exams, and welcomed the upgrades at three local primary schools.
“Our community is growing rapidly, and it’s important our local schools have the facilities they need to keep up,’’ he said.
“It’s great to see students at Austral, Greenway Park and Leppington Public Schools returning to new and upgraded facilities for Term 4.
“I also want to wish all our local Year 12 students the very best as they begin their HSC exams.
“You’ve worked hard to get here, and you should be proud of what you’ve achieved.”
