
Hammers, baseball bats, metal poles, shovels and a hatchet were used during a violent brawl at a house in Ruse on Saturday.
The weapons were used to destroy vehicles and other property.
A 35-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were also assaulted during the incident.
Six people have now been charged.
About 5.40pm on Saturday (September 20), police were called to a home on Oberon Road, Ruse.
When officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command arrived at the scene, they were told a large group of people allegedly armed with hammers, baseball bats, metal poles, shovels and a hatchet were involved in a brawl.
Police will allege the group arrived in several vehicles, before damaging cars at the property and assaulting a 35-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 35-year-old man for significant head injuries before he was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital for minor injuries.
A crime scene was established, and investigations commenced.
Following inquiries, about 6pm police attended a home in Seddon Place, Campbelltown and arrested three men aged 18, 20 and 57.
The 18-year-old was charged with two counts of assault destroying property, and affray.
The 57-year-old was charged with affray and two counts of destroying property.
They were both refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court yesterday (September 21).
The 20-year-old man was charged with affray and granted conditional bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court next Monday (September 29).
A short time later police attended a home on Hillview Street, Narellan and arrested a 15-year-old boy and two 17-year-old boys.
The 15-year-old was charged with affray, common assault and two counts of destroying property.
The 17-year-old was charged with affray and destroying property.
They were both refused bail to appear before a Children’s Court on Sunday (September 21).
The other 17-year-old boy was charged with affray and two counts of common assault and granted bail to appear before a Children’s Court next Monday (September 29).
Numerous weapons alleged to have been used in the offence have been seized and will be forensically examined.

A pedestrian hit by a car on Taber Place, Bradbury on September 9 has now died.
The 60-year-old woman was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition.
Police were informed that she passed away about 9pm last Wednesday (September 17).
The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man, has been charged and remains before the courts.
