Macarthur FC Bulls return home to Campbelltown Stadium for their next game when they host the Perth Glory this coming Sunday.

While this is another vital game for the Bulls, who will be hoping to win two in a row after their 3-1 victory over Brisbane last week, some of the spotlight will be on the club’s popular mascot, Arthur.

That’s not just because Arthur will be celebrating his third birthday, although that’s reason enough.

As part of Arthur’s birthday party there will be a host of fun activities for the kids, who will also get the chance to meet the birthday mascot and his friends such as The Ghost of Fred Fisher (Campbelltown City Council), Trigger (Club Menangle), Freddie the Falcon (Camden Falcons FC) and a few others.

Arthur does have one birthday wish and it’s for everyone attending to bring along new school supplies which will be donated to local families in need.

The Bulls have partnered up with The Silver Coin Project, a family run charity that supports Macarthur’s local primary schools by assisting disadvantaged students.

As part of Arthur’s birthday wish, those attending the game on Sunday (January 28) are being encouraged to donate school supplies.

Items that Bulls fans can donate include A4 lined exercise books, library bags, blue, red and black pens, earbud wired headphones, USBs, highlighters, vouchers for school shoes and geometry sets.

Others are lead pencils, dictionary, lunch boxes, paint shirts, drink bottles, rulers (wooden or plastic) and school bags.

The club say that they cannot collect scissors at Campbelltown Sports Stadium so this item cannot be donated as part of Arthur’s birthday.
