Nisbets Express Catering Equipment recently held an open day at its head office and distribution centre at Badgally Road, Campbelltown.
For those who haven’t heard of Nisbets, they are Europe’s largest catering equipment supplier.
Since opening their first Australian office in 2010 at Smeaton Grange, Nisbets have grown significantly since then and now boast eight locations across NSW, Victoria and Queensland.
Campbelltown Councillor Darcy Lound, who attended the opening day of Nisbets in Badgally Road said afterwards: “This is great that Nisbets have chosen to open up a large facility here in Campbelltown.

“The facility is very impressive and it was great to meet all the staff.
“Council has a full time strategic planner now working to attract companies like Nisbets to our city to create jobs closer to home so this is a fantastic outcome and I thank Nisbets for choosing Campbelltown.’’
The day was a chance to showcase thousands of hospitality and kitchen equipment products to those in attendance.
A charity barbecue helped to raise funds for Movember, and attendees were treated to a number of product demonstrations and food samplings throughout the day from well known local suppliers such as Robot Coupe and Moffat.
“It was great to see so many people in store throughout the day.
“Most people who visit our showroom are genuinely surprised at the range of items we sell not just for commercial businesses, but also baking or cooking enthusiasts,’’ said Campbelltown Nisbets store manager Rebecca Cunningham.
“I invite any local businesses or home cooks to come in and meet our team, and take a look around.’’
Nisbets were also a recent finalist in the 2015 Macarthur Business Awards, and employee Bianca Lemon won the award for Macarthur Young Executive of the Year.
