There will be changed overnight traffic conditions from this Thursday (June 18) on Twenty Eighth Avenue in Austral to allow for roadworks by Transport for NSW

This work involves installing new 50km/h speed limit signage for northbound and southbound motorists on Twenty Eighth Avenue, either side of Fifteenth Avenue, Austral, to increase road user awareness of the existing 50km/h speed limit.

The work, which will be carried out Monday to Friday, is expected to be completed by Thursday, July 2.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians under the guidance of traffic controllers.

A 40km/h speed limit will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

In Picton, changes in traffic conditions will accompany maintenance on underground drainage along Menangle Street and Webster Street, Picton as we undertake.

Work will be carried out during the night from 9pm to 5am, Sunday, June 21 to 24.

These works will include a temporary lane closure on Webster Street, Picton but traffic will still be able to travel through.

There will also be reduced parking and shoulder closures nearby on Menangle Street.

Also starting this Sunday is kerb rehabilitation work on Camden Valley Way in Catherine Field.

The work will be carried out on Camden Valley Way adjacent to Hungerford Street and Eldridge Lane, and will involve replacing two redundant driveway laybacks with new concrete kerb.

The work will be completed by July 17, weather permitting.

Lane closures, stop/slow, and a 40km/h speed limit will be in place for the safety of road workers and motorists.

A 40 km/h speed limit will be in place along the worksite for the safety of workers.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
