Strike Force Blorp detectives arrest two men at Airds

Two men charged after allegedly supplying drugs in South West Sydney faced Campbelltown Court on Friday.

They were arrested earlier in the morning by Strike Force Blorp detectives executing a search warrant at a home in Airds.

Strike Force Blorp was established to investigate the death of three people at a home in Rosemeadow on May 3.

Friday’s search warrant and arrests were part of ongoing inquiries by Strike Force Blorp.

During the search, police allegedly located and seized, almost 25g of methamphetamine, more than 24g of cannabis, an expandable baton, a drug ledger and cash.

Two men aged 49 and 52 were arrested at the scene and taken to Campbelltown Police Station.

The older man was charged with 11 offences, including:

  • Supply prohibited drug less than small quantity (five counts)
  • Supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis (three counts)
  • Supply prohibited drug more than indictable and less than commercial quantity
  • Drive motor vehicle during disqualification period
  • Use class A vehicle displaying altered number plates

The younger man was charged with:

Supply prohibited drug more than indictable and less than commercial quantity

Possess prohibited drug, deal with property proceeds of crime and possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit.

They were refused bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court last Friday (May 15).
