A toddler found alone in Campbelltown last night will be reunited with parents.
A police appeal to contact the parents has concluded successfully and the family will be reunited soon.
A media released issued earlier today revealed the parents had been contacted in the early hours of the morning.
Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command were patrolling at the intersection of Broughton Street and Moore Street, when they located the toddler alone on the street around 8.40pm last night.
Police first spoke to nearby residents and members of the public in the area in an attempt to find the child’s parents or carers.
The boy was found wearing a grey t-shirt and black track pants. Police issued an alert as part of the public appeal to contact his parents.
As a result of the appeal contact was made and arrangements made for the toddler to be reunited with his family.
Police said they would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
