It’s not the end of the world so early in his career, but you’ve got to feel for young Lachlan Galvin.
On Easter Monday the 18 year old five-eighth sensation from Campbelltown led the way as the Wests Tigers defeated Parramatta 17-16 (pictured above).
However, a sloppy tackle led to a sin binning and being put on report for the rising star.
He will miss two matches, and hopefully he will learn from his mistake.
There’s no doubt he has added tremendous value to the Wests Tigers attack, and every fan will be keenly anticipating his return.
Meanwhile Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall has named a 22-man squad for Saturday night’s Round 5 match against the Dolphins, to be played at Suncorp Stadium.
There is one forced change to the starting lineup following Easter Monday’s win over the Eels, and a couple of changes to the bench.
Jayden Sullivan will start at five-eighth replacing Lachlan Galvin (suspension) with Latu Fainu to make his NRL debut as the team’s new No.14.
Fainu will be joined on the bench by older brother Samuela, who made his first appearance for Wests Tigers in the team’s season-opener in Canberra.
Latu will become Wests Tigers Player #282 and will be the third player to make his NRL debut for Wests Tigers this season, following Lachlan Galvin and Solomona Faataape.
Alex Twal has also been added to the bench after being rested in Round 4 (HIA protocol).
