Parental support provider Karitane will soon offer its residential services in a single location.
“We are excited to announce that our residential services are relocating from Carramar and Camden to a new purpose-built, centrally located facility in Campbelltown,’’ says Karitane in a statement published in its latest online newsletter.
The new facility (pictured at right) is co-located on the Campbelltown Hospital precinct, alongside the new maternity and larger paediatric unit, providing easy access to other support services clients may need.
“This new facility has been designed to make families feel at home during their stay, with increased space, new outdoor areas and modern features,’’ it says.
“We will be offering 19 rooms to families across NSW with multiple rooms accommodating families with more than one child, as well as a culturally welcoming room for First Nations families.
“Our residential services (and virtual residential parenting service), toddler clinic and perinatal infant mental health services will be offered at this new location.
“This facility has been designed to make you feel at home during your stay, with increased space, new outdoor areas and modern features.
“Accessing parenting support remains quick and seamless, with parents completing the one online referral form.’’
Karitane said it had partnered with South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) and other stakeholders to bring “this amazing, vibrant facility to life’’.
“We look forward to continuing to provide critical, intensive early parenting support for families with children, from birth to five years from all across NSW.’’
