M-League awards reflect high standard of football in 2023

The who’s who of Macarthur attended this year’s awards dinner of the M-League on Wednesday night.

Three mayors, several MPs state and federal, sporting administrators, sponsors and media representatives packed the Wests Leumeah auditorium to find out who the 2023 winners were in this prestigious soccer competition.

The Macarthur Football Association Wests Group Macarthur M-League 2023 awards went to:

Club Championship Trophy – Camden Tigers FC

Men’s first grade Golden Boot: Matthew Wallace, Gunners SC

Men’s reserves grade Golden Boot: Saja Fatty, Camden Tiges FC

U21 Colts Golden Boot: Zaine El-Ayoubi, Narellan Rangers SC

Women’s first division Golden Boot: Jasmyn Windsor, AC United

Men’s first grade player of the year: Philip Hasiuk, Mt Annan Mustangs

Men’s reserves grade player of the year: Jake Wilson, Mt Annan Mustangs

U21 Colts player of the year: Jake Miller, Harrington United

Women’s first division player of the year: Chantelle Barnard, Harrington United and Rhea D’Mello, Sporting Rovers

Men’s first grade coach of the year: Chris Yorke, Camden Tigers FC

Men’s reserves grade coach of the year: Trent Thebridge, Mt Annan Mustangs

U21 Colts coach of the year: Zac Zuydam, Camden Tigers FC

Women’s first grade coach of the year: Frank Ojeda, AC United

Men’s first grade goalkeeper of the year: Ryan Jenkins, Narellan Rangers SC

Men’s reserves grade goalkeeper of the year: Frank Gerada, Harrington Hornets

U21 Colts goalkeeper of the year: Ayrash Chandra, Oran Park Rovers

Women’s first grade goalkeeper of the year: Rhianna Muscat, Liverpool City Robins

Men’s first grade referee of the year: Doug Brennan
