A man has been charged after crashing into a police vehicle at Narellan on the weekend.
The incident occurred around 7pm as two officers were departing Narellan Police Station in a fully marked police vehicle.
It is alleged that the police vehicle was rammed by a white Nissan Navara.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command arrested the driver of the Navarra – a 38-year-old man – who was taken inside Narellan Police Station.
The driver was subjected to a breath test which allegedly returned a positive reading.
He underwent a breath analysis which returned an alleged reading of 0.204.
The man was charged with two counts of intimidate police officer in execution of duty, drive with high range PCA (second offence), predatory driving, use unregistered registrable motor vehicle on road, use uninsured motor vehicle, and drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court yesterday, Sunday, November 27.
One of the officers in the police vehicle suffered minor injuries.

In a separate incident, an investigation is under way after a man was critically injured after being hit by a ute at Casula just before midnight on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to the Hume Highway near Holston Avenue shortly after 11pm and found a 60-year-old man suffering head, chest and leg injuries.
The driver of the ute, a 23-year-old man, had stopped and rendered assistant until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and took the injured man to Liverpool Hospital.
Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command established a crime scene with inquiries continuing by specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit.
The driver has undergone mandatory testing and his ute has been seized to undergo mechanical examination.
It’s believed the injured man had been crossing on a designated crossing at the time.
