A 31-year-old man has been refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today after police seized drugs, cash and fraudulent identification documents at a house in Oran Park.
The man will face charges of dealing with the proceeds of crime, possessing a prohibited drug and dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception.
In May, officers attached to Camden Police Area Command’s Intelligence Response Team commenced an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs in the local area.
Following inquiries, detectives, with assistance from the Bass Hill Region Enforcement Squad, executed a search warrant at a house on Madden Street, Oran Park, about 10.40am yesterday morning.
During the search, officers allegedly located and seized multiple mobile phones, 2.8 grams of a substance, believed to be cocaine, more than $112,000 in cash, electronic devices, multiple fraudulent NSW drivers licences and credit cards fraudulently acquired.
A man was arrested at the scene and taken to Narellan Police Station.
A second search warrant was executed about 4.40pm at a house on Butlers Close, West Hoxton where drug paraphernalia and four grams of cocaine were seized.

In a separate incident, police have
arrested and charged a man allegedly connected to three indoor cannabis
plantations estimated to be worth $3,300,000.
In June 2019, police received information that cannabis was allegedly being
cultivated at a property at Denham Court.
Following a surveillance operation, officers from Liverpool City Police Area
Command executed a search warrant at the premises on June 26.
Police allegedly located a significant indoor
cannabis plantation.
A vehicle which police had observed attending the location was registered to a
property in Yagoona.
Last Wednesday, July 3, police located the vehicle at the address and during a
subsequent search of the car, allegedly located equipment consistent to that
found at the indoor plantation.
Yesterday, police returned to the premises at Yagoona and placed a 37-year-old
man under arrest.
He was taken to Bankstown Police Station where his fingerprints were obtained.
The fingerprints were allegedly found to match those taken from an indoor
cannabis plantation at Botany in 2013 and another indoor cannabis plantation
located at Leumeah in 2015.
The man was charged with three counts of cultivating a prohibited drug.
He was refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
