Greater Sydney Local Land Services will host a series of workshops to support local producers and landholders struggling with the impact of drought.
One of these workshops will be held in Camden on September 18.
The workshop will give those who attend access to a range of expert information and services including financial assistance, mental health support and livestock feeding and management options.
Greater Sydney general manager David Hogan said the workshop aimed to give locals doing it tough access to Local Land Services staff and other key support services and assistance.
“We will have veterinarians, livestock and pasture experts there for producers who want advice on how they deal with the difficulty of drought,” he said.

Mr Hogan said Greater Sydney Local Land Services staff are already offering hands-on support to landholders where needed and these workshops will provide up to date localised information about managing and recovering from drought wherever possible.
“We will look to host more workshops in other areas in our region in the near future with events planned for the Central Coast and Hawkesbury,” he said.
The Camden workshop will be held from 6.30pm to 9pm on Tuesday, September 18 at the Camden Civic Centre, corner of Oxley Street and Mitchell Street,
Camden.
RSVPs are essential and can be made online or by phoning the Greater Sydney Local Land Services office on 4724 100.
