Dr Mike Freelander will be Labor’s candidate in Macarthur.

Ingleburn chamber of commerce will turn its May and June member meetings focus to the impending federal election

The chamber has announced that it has secured the two major party candidates for the Federal seat of Macarthur as its guest speakers for those two meetings.

Ingleburn has until these elections been part of the Federal seat of Werriwa but boundary distributions mean it is now within the seat of Macarthur, held by former Campbelltown Mayor Russell Matheson for the Liberal Party.

Dr Mike Freelander is the endorsed candidate for the Labor Party, as is Mr Matheson for the Liberal Party.

Dr Freelander will be the chamber’s guest speaker at its Wednesday, May 11 meeting.

Russell Matheson has agreed to be the chamber’s guest speaker a month later on Wednesday, June 8.

Check with Ingleburn chamber for details.
