If you’ve resolved to get your brain more limber this year, then the SWSLHD Cancer Therapy Wellness Centre Fundraiser Trivia Night at Narellan is a great start.
Working out your mind at the centre’s trivia night can be highly rewarding, both mentally and philanthropically.
Fellow brainiacs can rest assured that they’ll be served up the very best in cultural literacy on Friday, April 15 from 7pm until 9pm at the Narellan Community Hall, Corner of Queen Street and Elyard Street.
Tickets are $25 and include a two course dinner as well as the chance to win some great prizes.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards wellness programs at Camden, Campbelltown and Liverpool, hospitals.
Grab a group of your friends and come along to prove that your knowledge of obscure facts is truly worth all that headspace while supporting a great cause.
Some of the wellness programs currently being run by SWSLHD Cancer Therapy Centres include:
– A workshop that teach a range of techniques to help people unwind.
– Relaxing massages to help reduce the side effects caused by treatment and improve your quality of life and wellbeing.
– Meditation classes that are aimed at helping people to calm their mind and reduce anxiety.
– Arts and Crafts class is a great opportunity to relax, have fun and meet people who are going through a similar journey. Wendy’s classes get classmates to work together and create the ultimate scrapbook.
