A $50,000 state government donation was the icing on the cake at Saturday night’s Kids of Macarthur health foundation annual ball.
Local MP Greg Warren, pictured below, presented the cheque to the board on behalf of NSW health minister Ryan Park.
“I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to Kids of Macarthur on 25 years of outstanding service to our community,’’ Mr Warren said.
“Their unwavering commitment to enhancing healthcare for children and adolescents across the Macarthur region is truly remarkable.

“Our community is deeply grateful for their invaluable contribution and the work they do to support local families.”
Money raised by the foundation goes towards improving health care for children and adolescents living in the Macarthur region through the purchase of paediatric medical equipment for use in Campbelltown and Camden hospitals.
The charity also supports children’s community health programs.
“Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation has done such impressive work over the past 25 years, and I’m pleased to be able to celebrate their achievements,’’ said Camden and Campbelltown Hospitals general manager Grant Isedale.
“I want to thank the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation for their work advocating for the community.’’
This year the 25th anniversary Kids of Macarthur ball was raising funds for a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine that performs comprehensive images on the hearts of infants and the $50,000 from the state government was very handy.
“I would like to commend Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation for its ongoing work supporting healthcare in the region,’’ said health minister Ryan Park in a media statement.
“The Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation has reached an incredible milestone, helping and being part of the community for a quarter of a century.”
