Wollondilly business owners, sole traders and people considering self-employment will have the chance to put their questions directly to local experts when a “Thrive’’ event rolls into Picton on Wednesday, October 14.
Presented as part of NSW Small Business Month, Thrive will bring together an expert panel, business-support organisations and local networks.
It will be held in the Wollondilly Civic Centre, Picton between 3pm and 5pm.
Topics will include business planning, accounting and legal matters, marketing, artificial intelligence, sales, coaching and self employment.
There will also be time to meet the experts and speak directly with participating organisations in the expo.
“People running small businesses often have a question they’ve been sitting with for months, but they don’t know who to ask,” says Jill Heaton, CEO of The Unleashed Collective.
“Thrive gives people a place to ask it, hear practical advice and meet people who can help them take the next step.
“It is rare to find so many of the state and federal business support services who offer advice, workshops, training and mentoring in one room.’’
Exhibitors will include Wilton Business Network, Western Sydney Business Centre and Service NSW Business Bureau, and Sarina Ruso Entrepreneur programs.
The expert line-up includes Rachel McKay of Build with Rach, Michael Quinn of Quinn M&A, Phinemm Nelson of Vocalise Academy, Amanda Dennis and Kirsti Reynolds of RubyOnyx Marketing & Creative, and Hayley of Cockinos Consulting.
Thrive is aimed at established business owners, people in the early stages of starting a business, employed workers and job seekers exploring self-employment.
