Seven Macarthur FC players have been released by the club following the end of the 2025-26 A-League season.
The list includes Walter Scott and Matthew Jurman (pictured above), who have been with the club for three seasons and were both integral members of the squad coached by Mile Sterjovski.
Scott first joined the Bulls in the club’s inaugural season in 2020-21 before returning for the 2023/24 campaign.
Across his second stint, Scott made 57 appearances for the club and scored his first Bulls goal during the AFC Champions League Two campaign.
He was also part of the squad that secured the club’s second Australia Cup title.
Away from the field, Scott became a familiar face in the community, regularly attending School Holiday Clinics and Grassroots Blitz events.
Jurman joined the Bulls ahead of the 2023/24 season and quickly became a cornerstone of the club’s defence.
Across 58 appearances, Jurman brought leadership and consistency to the backline and played an important role in the club’s 2024 Australia Cup triumph.
Like Scott, he was also heavily involved in community initiatives, becoming a respected figure across South West Sydney through appearances at School Holiday Clinics and Grassroots Blitz events.

The Bulls have also confirmed the departures of Harrison Sawyer, Joshua Damevski, Frans Deli, Sime Grzan and Ji Dong-won.
Harrison Sawyer departs after scoring 13 goals for the club and claiming the Bulls’ Golden Boot for the 2025/26 season.
Known for his entertaining goals and memorable celebrations, Sawyer quickly became a fan favourite and played an important role within the South West Sydney community.
Joshua Damevski and Frans Deli joined the Bulls during the 2024/25 season and quickly became valued members of the squad.
A graduate of the Bulls FC Academy, Deli made 23 appearances in Bulls colours during his time with the club.
Off the pitch, both Damevski and Deli played active roles in the club’s community initiatives, regularly attending School Holiday Clinics and Grassroots Blitz events across the South West Sydney region.
Sime Grzan and Ji Dong-won joined the club ahead of the 2025/26 season and made an immediate impact both on and off the pitch.
Grzan made 23 appearances across all competitions and scored twice during the club’s AFC Champions League Two campaign.
Despite his season being cut short, Ji also made a strong contribution, featuring 13 times in Bulls colours and scoring once for the club, while also playing an active role throughout the Bulls community.
The club thanked all departing players for their dedication and contribution to Macarthur Bulls FC and wished them all the best in the next chapter of their careers.
