Highlights include upgraded and personalised locker room fit-outs, integrated team branding options to foster player identity and belonging, and custom-built strapping benches to support efficient player preparation and treatment.
The project also delivered modernised medical rooms and improved media access spaces within the player facilities, ensuring the stadium meets contemporary standards for professional sport and major events.
Campbelltown Sports Stadium hosts more than 30 events each year and is home to national-level competitions across multiple codes.
The iconic venue previously known as Orana Park regularly accommodates NRL and NRLW fixtures, A-League matches, as well as local, state and national sporting championships and a range of community and cultural events.
This investment forms part of ongoing planned upgrades to Campbelltown Stadium.
Campbelltown Council says the improvements reflects a commitment to creating a vibrant, active city and delivering infrastructure that our community can be proud of for years to come
The new change rooms were unveiled ahead of the first NRL fixture of the 2026 season in Campbelltown this Sunday, when Wests Tigers will host the Newcastle Knights.
Mayor of Campbelltown Darcy Lound said the upgraded facilities represented a significant investment in the city’s sporting infrastructure.
“With our region continuing to grow rapidly, Campbelltown Sports Stadium is a key sporting hub for elite sport, community events, as well as a key economic driver for the region,” Mayor Lound said.
“These state-of-the-art facilities are an important step forward in ensuring the stadium can cater for that growth and continue to attract high-quality events into the future,” he said.
“Campbelltown is a proud sporting city, and these improvements form part of ongoing planned upgrades to Campbelltown Sports Stadium which reflects Council’s commitment to investing in infrastructure that benefits our community, our local economy and the many sporting teams that use the stadium.”
