Paws in the Park is back in 2026 and ready to unleash more fun than ever before.

This iconic event for dog lovers and their four-legged sidekicks will be held on Sunday, May 17, in the Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park.

This free event is set to be a tail-wagging treat, featuring:

  • The much-loved two-kilometre dog walk (perfect for stretching two legs and four);
  • Pet and general product stalls to sniff out something new;
  • The crowd-pleasing Pawtastic Parade;
  • Exciting activities, talks and demonstrations;
  • A caricaturist, kids’ activities, including face painting and giant yard games, as well as an inclusive space.

The fun doesn’t stop there.

There will also be an online pet photo competition, where residents are invited to upload a snap of their furry superstar for a chance to win.

The competition will open on April 13 and will closeon May 1.

Winners will be announced both in person and online on the day of the event.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said she couldn’t wait to see the community and their canine companions back for another “pawsome’’ day.

 “Paws in the Park is a real highlight on our calendar and I know it’s an event that so many residents look forward to,” she said.

“It’s such a great opportunity to come together and celebrate the joy that pets bring to our lives, while learning about responsible pet ownership.

“I can’t wait to see tails wagging, people smiling and to just be part of the atmosphere.”
