Motorcycle rider, 50, dies in Camden South crash

A motorcycle rider has died following a crash in Camden South on the weekend. Police say that just after 2pm on Saturday emergency services responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a Ford Ranger at the intersection of Old Hume Highway and Wire Lane, Camden South.

The motorcycle rider, a 50-year-old man, died at the scene.

The driver of the Ford, a 76-year-old man, was uninjured and taken to Campbelltown Hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command established a crime scene that was examined by specialist police.

As inquiries continue anyone with information about the crash or was in the vicinity at the time with any available dashcam/mobile phone footage is urged to contact Narellan Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate this teenager missing from Sydney’s South West.

Andrew Falefata, aged 13, was last seen on Cumulus Street, Austral on January 22.

Unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Andrew’s welfare due to his young age and his disappearance being out of character.

Andrew is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance, about 180cm tall, of solid build, olive complexion, with short black hair and a rat’s tail coming from the back of his head, and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing black clothing.

Andrew is known to use public transport and frequents the Penrith area.

Anyone who sees Andrew is urged to contact Liverpool Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
