Macarthur Square says it has welcomed a wave of new retail and dining openings throughout 2025 that reflect the Macarthur region’s evolution.
It says that with Campbelltown increasingly seen as a key lifestyle and employment centre, Macarthur Square’s latest mix of first-to-market brands, experience-led store formats and food destinations signals a clear shift in how locals want to spend their time.
In short, they are moving beyond traditional “shop-and-go” trips towards places to dine, socialise and stay longer.
“The level of interest we’ve seen from both national and emerging brands is testament to the strength and growth of the Macarthur region,” said Jacqui Bell, centre manager at Macarthur Square.
“Customers are looking for precincts that bring together retail, dining and experiences, and our 2025 openings, along with what’s coming in 2026, are a direct response to how people want to spend their time locally,” Ms Bell said.
Highlights included Ringers Western’s first metropolitan store, alongside new lifestyle, beauty and service offerings, including Oz Hair and Beauty, Morie Candles, Never Miss, Dangerfield, Leays, Citrin, Ugg Express, and Asuria Disability Services.
Macarthur Square also expanded its dining line-up with new openings including Sweet Beans (pictured above) Spanian’s Kebabs, Miguelito’s Diner, Iggy’s Frozen Bar, and Hong Kong Chef, as well as fresh food retailers Brooklyn Fine Meats, and Cinnascroll – reflecting the diversity of the Macarthur community and the rise of cult food brands attracting both locals and visitors.
Key retailers also invested in expanded and upgraded formats, like Rebel RCX, Rebel Sport’s enhanced, experience-led format, which increased its footprint from 1,700sqm to more than 2,200sqm, alongside expanded stores for Novo, Universal Store and Sheike.
The centre also welcomed first-to-brand fit-outs for Tarocash and Dusk.
Macarthur Square will enter its next phase of growth in 2026 with a new line-up of food offerings supporting the region’s growing night-time and family-friendly economy.
