From tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25 and until Wednesday, December 10, Campbelltown residents are encouraged to show their support during the annual 16 Days of Activism campaign to prevent and eliminate domestic and family violence.

This Friday (November 28), the Driving Out Violence convoy will travel across Campbelltown, with vehicles representing community services, local businesses, and emergency responders.

“The 16 Days of Activism campaign provides an important reminder on the role each of us plays in ending domestic and family violence in our community,” Mayor Darcy Lound said.

“I’m proud to be part of the convoy this year. It’s important for men to stand together and take action to end violence against women and families,” says Campbelltown Mayor Lound.

This year, the convoy will be led by men to highlight the important role they have in advocating for respect, equality, and a future free from violence against women.

The convoy will make scheduled stops around Campbelltown, where visitors can access information and resource stalls hosted by the Campbelltown Domestic Violence Committee.

If you or someone you know needs assistance, please reach out to any of the following support services. If it is an emergency, always call Triple Zero (000).
