
With the 2025 NRL and NRLW seasons now concluded, the Wests Tigers have announced six NRL and 13 NRLW players will depart the club.
The men’s list includes outside back Solomona Faataape, who made his NRL debut for Wests Tigers after joining the Club from Brisbane Tigers in 2024.
He played in 19 NRL matches, and scored seven tries for the club.
Josh Feledy played 38 matches and scored 19 tries.
Campbelltown City Kangaroos junior Justin Matamua, who made his NRL debut for Wests Tigers in 2022, pictured above, is another player leaving the club.
The Samoan international represented the club on 14 occasions.
Featuring in 35 matches for the club over the last four seasons, Brent Naden joined the Wests Tigers midway through 2022 from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
Also departing is winger Charlie Staines, who played 38 matches for Wests Tigers over the last three seasons. In that time he scored 16 tries.
Brandon Tumeth made his NRL debut in 2023. A NSW U19s representative, the second rower also featured in 22 NSW Cup games for Western Suburbs.
The underperforming NRLW Wests Tigers squad will have a new coach next season – with Craig Sandercock handed the reins for the next two seasons.
The 13 players departing the club are Tallara Bamblett, Claudia Brown, Aaliyah Bula, Iemaima Etuale, Amelia Huakau, Tiresa Leasuasu, Salma Nour, Evie McGrath, Claudia Nielsen, Rebecca Pollard, Jessikah Reeves, Chelsea Savill, and Tiana-Lee Thorne.
