The three hour event helps residents build the knowledge and confidence to respond safely in emergency situations, while also offering valuable information and practical tips on how to prepare for a range of potential emergencies.
But while Emergency Ready Day is all about empowering residents to learn how to upscale their resilience, there’s also lots of fun to be had during the event.
Residents can look forward to a fun-filled day for the whole family, including free face painting, lucky door prizes, interactive activities with emergency services and the chance to explore emergency trucks, vehicles and equipment up close.

“It offers the chance for all residents to gain expert insight, ask questions and get personalised advice on their emergency plans,” Cr Lound said,
The 2025 Emergency Ready Day will again be held at Koshigaya Park, on Sunday, September 21, from 11am to 2pm and will include information stalls hosted by the emergency service representatives.
