When residents move into their new home at the Birling residential development on The Northern Road, they will get access to high speed broadband delivered via full fibre NBN infrastructure.

After winning the contract with developers Cameron Brae Group, NBN will now deliver full fibre to 2100 premises at Birling – or 11 kilometres of fibre.

“Birling is designed to be a place where residents can thrive, and having access to high speed internet is a crucial part of that vision,’’ says Paul Gerlach, general manager of Cameron Brae.

“We are excited to partner with NBN to bring full fibre into our development, ensuring that our residents have the best possible digital infrastructure to support their work, education, and entertainment needs.

“This initiative will not only enhance the daily lives of our current residents but also make Birling an even more desirable destination for future homeowners.

“This is especially the case for people who take up a job at the Western Sydney International Airport, which has supercharged employment opportunities in the region.

“They will get to enjoy the increased prosperity and connectivity that our thriving community offers, both physically and digitally.”

Andrew Walsh, executive general manager new developments at NBN Co, said full fibre was making the nbn network “future-ready’’.

“We firmly believe that the team at Cameron Brae has made the best possible decision that will benefit today’s new home owners and future generations of residents at Birling,’’ he said.

“We can’t wait to see them use fibre to its full potential.

“Property developers are building the new Australia and NBN is actively proving why we are a natural partner to provide essential broadband infrastructure that benefits future residents for decades to come.”

  1. It is great that developers are making their sits more valuable by installing fibre to the home rather that the original Coalition Gobernment scheme of fibre to the node . . Internet is now so important to family life and employment but it also creates worry for parents about children’s access to unsuitable material on the internet
