Contemporary artist Yana Taylor is seeking donations of old family photographs for her upcoming exhibition Small Acts, Long Ripples in Campbelltown Arts Centre.
The artist says the photographs need to be old images, printed hard copies and feature memories of loved ones, including mums, aunts and kids.
“It would be great if people are having a good time in the photos, but it is not essential,’’ she says.
“They don’t have to be fancy, perfect or composed. The donated photographs will be presented within the exhibition, handled by visitors and might not be returned to donors. We will look after the photos as best as possible.’’
A selection of photographs donated by the public and Yana Taylor will be rotated in the gallery space throughout the exhibition period, April13 to June 22.

Campbelltown City Library members can now access services directly from their phone or tablet by downloading the new Campbelltown Library App.
The new platform, facilitated by library app developer SOLUS, allows members to search and reserve catalogue items, book on-site technology and services, reserve and borrow eResources and access notices about upcoming library events.
To celebrate the launch of the app, SOLUS will offer users the chance to enter an iPad giveaway by downloading and logging into the app before Sunday 17 March.
The Campbelltown City Library App is now available to download on iOS and Android devices.

March is jam-packed with a range of activities for seniors to take part in Camden for Seniors Festival 2024.

Local women are encouraged to get involved in a variety of free community events and activities as part of this year’s NSW Women’s Week celebrations.
International Women’s Day is on March 8 and this year’s theme is Count her in: invest in women, accelerate progress, which focuses on collectively investing in women financially and leveraging opportunities.
Several community events designed around the theme will be held during March 4-10.

Campbelltown residents can now have their say on council’s draft memorial and monuments in public open space policy.
The amended policy aims to give clarity to anyone applying for a monument or memorial on space owned by council. This provides an improved application process to ensure all the community can use and enjoy the beautiful Council spaces.
The policy will also ensure the ongoing maintenance of fixed memorials or monuments after they are built.
