If you’re a mum who’s also running her own business, the inaugural EmpowerHER event is for you.
Business Mums Society, a membership based community of entrepreneurial mums operating out of South Western Sydney, will host the event on Monday, February 26, at LCC Venues – Prestons. (for those not familiar with this venue it’s the facility right next to Liverpool Catholic Club in Prestons).
Carla Filipakis, who founded Business Mums Society, says EmpowerHER aims to celebrate and empower women in our community by providing a platform for networking, learning, and inspiration.
“The event will feature engaging keynote speakers, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, creating a supportive environment for entrepreneurial mothers to connect and thrive both professionally and personally,’’ said Ms Filipakis, who is pictured above, right.
“The two hour EmpowerHER event will feature a morning networking meeting designed to foster connections among business mums and provide them with valuable support and resources as they navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship and motherhood.’’
The keynote speaker at this event will be the inspirational Jen Be, (pictured), who will share her infectious energy and personal journey to success with her EmpowerHER audience.

EmpowerHER will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Monday, February 26 at LCC Venues – Prestons.
