The popular artist exchange makers market is returning to Campbelltown arts centre this Sunday, November 26 from 10am to 4pm.
The markets exhibit a curated selection of stalls featuring artwork, ceramics, jewellery, homewares, textiles, woven pieces and toys from local artists across the Macarthur region and wider Sydney, Southern Highlands, and Illawarra regions.
In addition to the diverse range of stalls, the arts centre is hosting an exciting lineup of activities and workshops suitable for both children and adults.
“The artist exchange makers market is a wonderful opportunity for our local artists to showcase their unique talents and for our residents to find one-of-a-kind gifts for the Christmas season,” says Mayor George Greiss.
The activities and workshops include wreath making, make your own earrings, snow globe workshop and design your own Christmas reusable fabric wrapping.

The Rocking Around Campbelltown Christmas convoy will not now stop at Cook Reserve on Saturday, December 2, due to recent damage caused to the playground equipment in the park.
While it’s disappointing the convoy cannot visit Cook Reserve this year, it will instead make a second stop at Passfield Park, Minto.
The community can enjoy this event location from 12pm to 2pm, with Santa arriving at 12.30pm.
The convoy will travel to four locations this year, from 10.30am to 9pm, including:
Glenfield Park, Glenfield (10.30am to 12.30pm – Santa arrives 11am)
Passfield Park, Minto (12pm to 2pm – Santa arrives 12.30pm)
Rizal Park, Rosemeadow (1.30pm to 3.30pm – Santa arrives 2pm)
Campbelltown Athletics Stadium (5pm to 9pm – Santa on-stage at 8pm)

In other Campbelltown news, young people aged 14 to 24 who live, work or study in Campbelltown LGA are encouraged to submit their expression of interest to join council’s youth action team for 2024.
The youth action team will see young locals join council in developing and delivering a variety of youth events and engagement opportunities across Campbelltown, over the next year.
“As we continue to develop our youth strategy for 2024-2030, we’ve heard direct feedback and perspectives provided from young people in the community,” Mayor Greiss said.
“Council are committed to empowering these voices and the youth action team is a great chance for local people to get directly involved in the next 12 months of our youth programming,” he said.
The youth action team will also include training opportunities with industry experts for each member and a formal reference and graduation certificate upon completion of their term.
