Campbelltown’s newest housing development, Figtree Hill, has proven very popular with homebuyers, selling out all 450 lots of stage one.

The sales success of the Lendlease development located off Appin Road 10 minutes from the centre of Campbelltown has brought forward the next land release.

Called Parkland View, stage two of Figree Hill will be surrounded by natural bushland and beautifully designed parklands, located just a short stroll from where the future Village Centre and adventure playground will be.

Set to be released next Tuesday, August 1, Parkland View will offer premium lots all larger than 500 square metres, with land starting from $668,000.

Delivery of the community’s first park, which includes a new adventure playground designed for all ages and abilities, is also set to commence following approval from Campbelltown City Council.

Designed in collaboration with ASPECT Studios and drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape, the new playground will offer a range of play features and activity zones, including a shaded water play zone, large play structure called The Mill, a double flying fox, basketball halfcourt, and shaded sand and toddler play area.

The new park will also include an amphitheatre and public lawn, creating spaces for community performances and a place for residents to gather, connect and enjoy.

Work on the park and playground will commence shortly and will be completed in late 2024.

When complete, Figtree Hill will deliver 1,700 new homes set amongst 20 hectares of natural bushland and protected conservation areas.

Residents will be able to enjoy more than six kilometres of walking trails and cycle paths, parks and an adventure playground, local retail and a new community centre.

It will also be an all-electric community, enabling it to be run on 100 per cent renewable power.

Construction has been moving ahead, with the community’s first light poles, footpaths and roads now installed, street names revealed, and more than 9,000 plants and 900 street trees being planted over the next few months in anticipation of the first land registrations.

Construction on significant upgrades to Appin Road, which will provide long awaited road widening and safety improvements, koala protections and new intersections to the Figtree Hill community, are pending approval.

“The continued sellout of land at Figtree Hill shows the pent-up demand for housing in Sydney’s south west and just how sought-after the community is for its connection to nature and proximity to Macarthur and Campbelltown,’’ says Brendan O’Brien, head of NSW communities at Lendlease.

“A short 10-minute drive to Campbelltown’s CBD, residents will have easy access to health, education, shopping and transport, as well as early learning, primary and secondary schools.”
