Investigators are appealing for information following two armed robberies near Camden in Smeaton Grange and Parramatta, which police believe are linked.
The first took place around 2.30am on Tuesday, March 28, when four males wearing face coverings entered a service station on Anderton Road, Smeaton Grange and jumped the counter, pictured above from security camera footage.
One of the males, who was armed with a knife, threatened the 20-year-old female attendant and forced her to lie on the floor.
The males then stole a quantity of cigarettes and cash, before driving off in a black Range Rover.
About 7am the same day, four males entered a convenience store on Crimea Street, Parramatta and forced the 51-year-old female attendant to lay on the ground as they targeted tobacco products, stealing $2,000 worth of cigarettes.
The four males then fled the store and drove off in a black Range Rover.
Neither female attendant was injured during the robberies.
Strike Force Offerton, comprising officers from Parramatta Police Area Command, was formed to investigate the robberies.
A 17-year-old male has been charged in relation to the Smeaton Grange and Parramatta robberies and remains before the courts.
As investigations continue, police have released CCTV footage and descriptions of the males, who police believe can assist with their inquiries.
All three males were wearing long pants, hooded jumpers and face coverings to conceal their identity.
