Three people have been injured in a home invasion at St Andrews this morning.

Emergency services were called to a home on Stranraer Drive shortly before 5am and found two women and a man injured.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the women for head injuries and one for a hand injury, and a man for a stab wound.

All have been taken to Liverpool Hospital and are reported to be in a stable condition.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command attended and have established a crime scene.

Police have been told the residents were injured when three men forced their way into the home.

The men were last seen running south along Stranraer Drive with a Police Dog unit tracking a scent to St Andrews Park.

Inquiries are underway to identify those involved and investigators are calling on anyone with information about this incident – or who has dashcam of the trio – to contact Campbelltown Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

In other police news, drivers who get behind the wheel after drinking will be the focus of this Easter weekend double demerits operation.

Launched yesterday, Easter Operation 2022 started at midnight last night and will end 11:59pm on Easter Monday.

Seven people lost their lives during the Easter long weekend in 2021 and more than 300 people were caught under the influence of alcohol.

Easter Operation 2022 will be a highly visible police traffic operation with a focus on reducing road fatalities and road trauma this holiday weekend.

In addition to targeting drink driving, police will also have a focus on targeting drivers that are speeding, drug driving, not wearing seatbelts and distracted by mobile phones.
