A man is being treated in hospital after being stabbed outside a home near Campbelltown just after midnight.
Emergency services were called to Julian Way at Claymore about 1.15am and found a 27-year-old man suffering stab wounds to his chest and hands.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital where he is described as being in a stable condition.
The man has told officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command he was injured after being robbed in the street of two mobile phones and a watch.
A crime scene has been established and a canvass of the neighbourhood is underway.

In a separate incident, two cars have been destroyed after they caught fire in a unit carpark in Chipping Norton.
About 10.30pm on Saturday emergency services attended a carpark in Mead Drive responding to two vehicles – a Ranger Rover and an Audi Q5 – well alight.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze; however, the cars were completely destroyed.
No one was injured during the incident.
Liverpool City Police Area Command established a crime scene and investigations are under way to determine the cause of the fire.
