Two months after closing down for Covid-19, Wests Leagues Club and Country Club Gledswood Hills have reopened their doors.
The Wests Group Macarthur venues opened their doors on Monday, June 1, in line with the easing of restrictions by the NSW Government.
As patrons will notice when they visit the venues, there have been some great improvements completed there during the period of closure.
“Our recent renovations help us to welcome a new era of West Group Macarthur venues,’’ says Tony Mathew, CEO of Wests Group Macarthur.
“We look forward to having our loyal members, guests, and wider local community in to experience and enjoy our new facilities and state of the art additions”.
Improvements at Wests League Club, pictured, include the installation of LED screens, a soon to be completed refurbished bistro and a brand new Italian Marana Forni wood fire pizza oven and a rotisserie oven.
Lakeside Golf Club Camden is still undergoing construction and will be closed for the time being (excluding golf) with the elegant new dining area and upgraded facilities to be ready around July.
The Country Club is currently undergoing more exciting changes to the courtyard with the addition of a complete Louvre roofing system so guests can enjoy the fresh Gledswood Hills air, no matter the weather.
It goes without saying that the safety of patrons and staff will be paramount at all Wests venues. This means some venue capacity and safety restrictions will apply including:
- All members will be subject to a temperature check on entry.
- All venues will be members only, with new members welcome.
- Limited number of people on site to 1 person per 4 square metres
- No more than 6 people in a group.
- The 1.5 metre social distancing rule applies between tables and groups.
- Cashless payments across all Wests venues are preferred.
- Kids play areas are closed – children are to remain seated with their families.
